Accessory Dwelling Unit - Redwood City, CA

Home Remodel and Addition - Palo Alto, CA
The remodel of the existing duplex into a 1,700 SF single home, maximizes the space to accommodate 3 bedrooms 2.5 baths. Every square foot in this remodel is used to create fluidity in the living areas, to elongate the views and to give an impression of depth by eliminating the existing corridors and the existing entrance hall, removing walls between the kitchen, the dining room, and the living room. The porch addition replaces the formal entrance hall and serves as a transition between interior and exterior.

Home Remodel and Addition - Campbell, CA
The goal of this remodel is to restructure the living space, kitchen and reconfigure the access to the house, while adding 440 SF to accommodate a guest room, a bathroom, an office and a new entrance with a porch.

Home Remodel - San Mateo, CA
The two-story home from the 70's is nestled in the canyon of San Mateo Hills. The existing house was congested, enclosed and dark. The remodel of the entire house 3,250 SF, opens the layout for fluid flow, adding large sliding doors to bedrooms and living rooms facing the canyon making harmony with the views. The goal of this project is to create perspectives that could capture the amazing outdoors surrounding this property and bringing it inside.

Office Space Remodel - San Carlos, CA
The minimalist project, with a minimal budget, is to create a soundproof conference room, in an open floor warehouse office space. By using glass blocks on a curved wall that defines the conference room area, it takes advantage of the second light. The challenge in this tight space was hiding the multitude of pipes protruding the ceiling at different heights without bringing the ceiling height too low. Using painted plywood boards shaped like clouds mounted on threaded rods and bolts at different heights allowed us to give an impression of depth and height while masking the pipes.

Home Remodel and Addition - Menlo Park, CA
The remodel of the living areas allowed to create, in this 1,600 SF 3 bedrooms 2 baths house, an oversized living space by expanding the perspectives. By removing a few walls between the existing kitchen and the dining room and letting it extend and transform into a gourmet kitchen. The living room is also extended toward the side yard, incorporating the existing porch. Adding a row of three sliding glass doors floods the living area with brightness and provides views of the side yard while framing the majestic oak tree in its center.

Preliminary Design: Residence - Helena, MT
The existing family vacation home on this property facing the reservoir was replaced with a large vacation home to accommodate two families while giving privacy and space to each one. The double-height volume above the living room separates the two suites connected by a walkway that offers panoramic views across the atrium. The house sits on a natural pedestal dominating the reservoir, each room is embracing the view and capturing the majesty of nature.
